Major Developments

Egina

OML 130 Egina

Discovered in 2003, the Egina field is located in the Gulf of Guinea, 150km off the coast on Nigeria, in water depths ranging from 1,400m to 1,700m.

Egina consists of the largest Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) ever installed in Nigeria by TotalEnergies. Production began in 2018, and the field is designed to produce up to 200,000 boepd at peak.

akpo fpso

OML 130 Akpo

First operated deep offshore project, started production in 2009. Akpo has a production plateau of 180,000 barrels of condensate per day with a storage capacity of 2 million barrels of stabilized liquid hydrocarbon.

ofon-dji_0060-2s

OML 102 Ofon

First phase of OFON come on stream in 1997. Field development project (phase 2) was launched in 2007. Ofon 2 in OML 102 was designed to bring 125,000 boepd (100,00 kb/d + 3Mm/d gas). Flare out was achieved in December 2014.

OML 58 Upgrade

TotalEnergies' firts oil in Nigeria was produced from OML 58. This is a mature onshore field located in Niger Delta with production capacity of 60,000 barrels of oil.

The upgrade boosted gas supply from 70,000 boepd to 100,000 for both industrial and domestic use and ended routine flaring.

amenam kpono complex

OML 99/70 Amenam/ Kpono

Discovered in 1983, this field started production in 2003. The capacity of the field is 125,000 boepd at peak.

OML 99 Ikike

Ikike is a satellite field (tie-in to Amenam) development which promotes Nigerian Content in the Oil and Gas industry while capitalizing on TotalEnergies' experience in project execution. Ikike is 20km offshore at 20m water depth and 15km North of Amenam. The field started production in July 2022.

OML 58 Ubeta Gas Field

With a plateau of 300 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (about 70,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day including condensates). Ubeta is designed as a non-routine gas flare operation, leveraging the existing processing facilities in our OML 58 field.

The Ubeta gas condensates field is being developed with a new 6-well cluster connected to the existing Obite facilities through an 11km buried pipeline. Gas from Ubeta will be supplied to NLNG. a liquefaction plant located in Bonny Island, in which TotalEnergies holds 15% interest.
