The efforts of TotalEnergies in boosting health care delivery in Nigeria, especially its support in combatting the Covid-19 pandemic, earned the Company public commendation at the 8th Lagos Stakeholders’ Conference of the Nigeria Institute Public Relations (NIPR), which took place on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the MUSON Centre, Lagos.
After over a year of waiting due to the Covid-19 crisis, the TotalEnergies Upstream Nigeria Ltd’s Egina project received its special citation from the jury of the Distinguished Achievement Award at the 2021 Offshore Technology Conference, which took place from August 16th through 19th in Houston, Texas.
Following its recent name change from Total to TotalEnergies, the company has unveiled the new names of its Nigerian-registered Upstream Companies. TotalEnergies made the disclosure at a virtual media parley held on Thursday, August 19, 2021. It was also an opportunity to shed light on its trailblazing role in earning carbon credits in Nigeria while reiterating its long-term commitment to the country.
Following the recent name change of the Total Group to TotalEnergies, Total companies in Nigeria have highlighted the path to the new name that reflects the vision and ambition of the TotalEnergies Group, with a broad energy lineup that includes oil, gas, electricity, hydrogen, biomass, wind and solar.
